Our Safetec Academy is widely recognized as a trusted provider of professional training and continuing education. Our training portfolio covers radiation protection, hands-on HSE training, professional qualification, radiation measurement technology, as well as building decontamination and clearance. In addition, we offer specialized training programs for the healthcare sector. For all legally regulated training courses, we ensure full compliance with applicable regulations, approvals, and certification requirements. Expertise and Growth Since 2020
Since the opening of our Heidelberg location in 2020, the Safetec Academy has continuously expanded its expertise and training portfolio.
By strategically strengthening both our Academy leadership and our team of instructors, we have significantly enhanced our technical capabilities. In particular, we have broadened our expertise in the nuclear sector with specialized training in radiation measurement technology as well as building decontamination and clearance.
We have also substantially expanded our Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) training portfolio. In addition to a wide range of core nuclear technology courses, we now offer hands-on crane and forklift operator training.
Our expanded back-office team manages the entire administrative process—from course planning and coordination to legally compliant documentation of all mandatory training activities.
Hands-On Learning at the Core
The heart of the Safetec Academy is our dedicated Training Center, established in 2022.
Here, we put our core philosophy into practice: people learn most effectively by experiencing and applying knowledge firsthand. Our experienced instructors deliver practical, engaging training tailored to the individual needs of every participant.
Today, we train a growing number of internal and external participants each year through an expanding portfolio of professional development programs—delivered with expertise, practical relevance, and a strong focus on current industry requirements.

Independence and Flexibility
In addition to collaborating with partners such as the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK), we now deliver the majority of our professional qualification programs independently. This allows us to tailor both training content and schedules even more precisely to current industry requirements.
Participants benefit from immediate knowledge transfer and direct interaction with our experts throughout every course. By combining in-house expertise with a practical approach, we prepare professionals for the challenges of tomorrow—professionally, flexibly, and with a clear focus on the future.
